Description
Nuffield 465 tractor... Very good in the tin work. Pedals wear indicate the hours are about right 3806. Good tyres. Water and in the right place ..V 5 here. Foot plates in the cab are very good.
1967 tractor .
10 speed 65hp.
Came from a deceased estate. Standing for a long time 10 years or more I would guess. Barn stored.
Steering is tight. Good overall appearance...ideal for road runs. Restoration etc.

Bad points, engine runs but is rough. Needs an engine overhaul from standing. Can run for a few seconds but needs sump taking off and going from there.
On further investigation I think it might be a stuck valve or 2 compression is low but starts and runs.
Electrics need work…see pictures but the electrics on these are not complicated.
Needs a new battery. Wheel bearing.
Brakes are ceased due to standing…will probably need heat and oil etc.
If I had the time and inclination…I would go through the engine and restore it with a dynamo instead of the alternator.
Great history with the Cambridge badge.
In reality the parts would not cost much but just someone who wants to restore a good tractor.
Ideally view and if you like, pay and take it away on an ifor Williams trailer or similar.
